In response to the cooperation between the east and the west and in combination with its own industrial development needs, Sichuan Zhengdakai Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park plans to build a project with an annual output of 1.2 million tons of ethylene glycol and co-production of 100,000 tons of electronic grade dimethyl carbonate in the first phase. Phase 2 project will be built for totally 6 industrial chain extension with an annual output of 200,000 tons of optical grade BOPET, 5 billion sets of APET direct drinking containers, 600,000 tons of PET staple fiber, 500 million meters of gray fabric, 250,000 spindles of smart spinning, 100,000 tons of non-woven fabrics. It will take advantage of local natural gas resources to form new new material industry clusters, driving the joint development of petrochemical, food-grade PET, polyester new materials, packaging, textile chemical fiber, logistics and other related upstream to downstream industries in Sichuan as well as the central and western regions.
